Education without art or game

ART EDUCATION OR GAME WITHOUT

Twelve years parked in school we are dedicated to developing the right at the expense of the rest of our faculties. Nobody teaches us to develop our senses, our intuition, our sense of play and artistic. If a parent asked what he thinks of art education, is likely to frown, because apparently heard a heresy. Prefer practical things for their offspring, such as English or computer. This does not come alone, because many parents tend to their children to a fiercely competitive world, instead of being full of noble souls and human sense of solidarity, peace and the ability to perceive the beauty of life.

Even if you are virtuous later, having learned enough to appreciate the arts to enjoy balance in their lives, and especially, higher defense mechanisms against an ever-more unfair and less likely to excel.

Arts subjects are less important than sports. There is a hint of environmental consciousness by dint of incorporating these issues into the curriculum, but there is a wealth consciousness. In schools not taught to love our heritage buildings and the other the intangible. We have no clear notion of the party as the horizon of knowledge of our cultures. How can we respect, then, the legacy of our greatest if not encouraged or even the inventory of that legacy?
